I would have never thought that Missouri weather would be so generous towards the fall/winter months! Julia contacted me for a senior portrait session in November and I was a little nervous about the weather. A lot of planning goes into a senior session as far as location, hair and makeup timeframes and most likely getting out of school early due to the shortage of sunlight. As a photographer, we are at the mercy of mother nature. Too cold? Cancel, Too windy? Cancel. Rain? Cancel. The list goes on and on! Luckily, this mid-November day was just as beautiful as an September evening and we were thrilled!
Julia picked out the best outfits for our coordinating locations and then, of course, my fantastic Hair and Makeup Artist Kasi did a phenomenal job. We were under the wire for light - so we hustled from location to location. After an amazing downtown setting we ventured to a local creek/trail that had the best sunset. Sun flares and rays peeking through bare trees that washed over her hair so delicately almost melted my soul. Julia is a beautiful young woman that is going to do amazing things in her life. I just know it.
